Our commitment to continuous improvement goes hand in hand with investing in the growth of our team members.

Three of our Reliability team members participated in a technical training program at Moraine Park Technical College from September 2024 to April 2025. In 6 months, they completed 106 hours of training!

Their exceptional dedication to leveling up their skills is already making a noticeable impact across both our Milling and Bioscience facilities.

The decision to enroll in the program was rooted in the simple truth: we saw opportunity.

“We recognized areas where additional training could really boost our team’s ability to respond quickly and effectively to challenges on the floor,” said John Bosco, Director of Corporate Reliability. “Moraine Park had exactly what we were looking for – from electrical AC/DC theory to control systems and preventative maintenance practices. The fact that this program was grant-supported made the timing perfect.”

The Workforce Advancement Training (WAT) grants, secured through Moraine Park Technical College, support investments in employee training programs. The programs are developed to train employees in concepts like leadership, continuous improvement and advanced technical skill development to transform business operations.

The trainings gave the team a deeper understanding of electrical systems, controls, and troubleshooting – skills they’ve already begun applying in real-time situations.

“This kind of development strengthens our whole reliability strategy. When team members like Travis, Bobby, and Josh grow their skills, our uptime improves, and we can support our customers better. It also builds a sense of ownership – these guys are invested in doing things right.”

At Didion, we’re proud to support the continuous learning and professional development of our team members. Because when they succeed, we all succeed.
