At Didion, safety is more than a company core value—it’s a commitment we extend beyond our operations and into the communities we call home. That commitment was on full display Monday evening as the Didion Foundation proudly presented a state-of-the-art thermal imaging camera to the Cambria Fire Department.

The donation equips the department with a vital tool that enhances emergency response and firefighter safety.

“This new thermal imaging camera is a game-changer for our emergency response capabilities, dramatically improving our ability to respond to emergencies safely and effectively,” said Cody Doucette, Chief of the Cambria Fire Department. “We’re deeply grateful to the Didion Foundation for making this possible.”

The thermal imaging camera allows firefighters to detect heat signatures through smoke, darkness, and walls—enabling faster victim location, improved situational awareness, and more effective fire suppression. For a volunteer department like Cambria’s, this technology can make a life-saving difference.

“At Didion, safety is at the core of everything we do—both in our operations and in our community,” said Derek Humphries, Director of Environmental Health and Safety at Didion. “We’re proud to support the Cambria Fire Department with this vital tool that will help protect both firefighters and the people they serve.”

The presentation, held at the Cambria Fire Department, brought together the volunteer first responders and folks from Didion’s Environmental Health and Safety team to celebrate the donation and the strong partnership between Didion and the department.

As we look to the future, Didion remains committed to investing in the people and organizations that keep our communities safe. We’re honored to stand alongside the Cambria Fire Department and all first responders who dedicate themselves to protecting others.
