The Didion Foundation is proud to announce the recipients of its 2025 scholarships: Caleb Gard and Joel Voigt, each awarded $5,000 to support their college education.
Caleb Gard, a graduate of Pardeeville High School, will attend the University of Wisconsin–Madison to pursue a degree in Business. A standout student-athlete and community volunteer, Caleb has demonstrated exceptional perseverance and leadership.
“Being chosen as a recipient of the Didion scholarship meant a lot to me and it showed me that they believe in the things I have done and want to help me in my future goals,” Caleb said. “I’m grateful and determined to make the most of this scholarship.”
His father, Garry Gard, a Didion team member for over two decades, expressed heartfelt gratitude:
“To have Caleb named as a recipient of this year’s scholarship was very humbling. Didion has given me the opportunity to learn, grow and provide for my family with a great career. Now the Foundation is doing the same for Caleb by helping him pursue his dreams.”
Joel Voigt, a graduate of Poynette High School, is a student at Madison Area Technical College and working toward a degree in IT-Cybersecurity. His journey has been marked by resilience, personal growth, and a strong commitment to his local community. Joel has also made a difference by fostering animals through the Columbia County Humane Society.
“It is difficult to find words to describe just how instrumental this opportunity will be for my growth as an individual,” Joel said. “And it is even harder to convey it.”
Donna beamed with pride when asked about the scholarship.
“I’m grateful to be working for Didion where they support higher education of employees and their children. Many thanks to everyone that made it possible.”
Didion CEO Riley Didion shared:
“We are honored to support students like Caleb and Joel who embody the values of hard work, community service, and a drive to make a difference. The Didion Foundation is proud to invest in their futures.”
