Last week, friends, families, and colleagues gathered to celebrate the retirements of Todd Giesfeldt and John Deininger, who together have devoted nearly 25 years to Didion.
Todd Giesfeldt started his career at Didion in 2000, and played a significant role in furthering research and development for the company. As R&D Manager, Giesfeldt oversaw technology development, concept development, and new product development. He also managed several complex research projects and served as a process engineer in the ethanol plant.
“It has been a privilege working with Todd and words cannot express how much we appreciate the last several years he has dedicated to Didion,” said John Didion, CEO of Didion. “ He has rooted a strong foundation here and we are committed to building on the legacy he has worked
so hard to establish over the years.”
John Deininger joined Didion in 2010, bringing a wealth of knowledge in quality assurance and food safety. In his most recent role as Quality Assurance Manager, Deininger was responsible for the oversight of raw materials, work-in-process, and finished products. He also provided
training in food safety and quality to Didion employees as well as technical expertise to customers.
“We are grateful for John’s service and congratulate him on his retirement,” said Derrick Clark, vice president of operations at Didion. “His commitment to raising the bar in quality assurance systems and food safety was instrumental in shaping many of the processes in place today.”
