When every minute matters, first responders need reliable equipment they can trust.
That’s why the Didion Foundation was proud to provide a $3,500 donation to the Randolph Fire Department to help purchase new gas detection meters that will improve emergency response capabilities across Randolph and neighboring communities.
The department sought support to replace more than 30-year-old gas detection equipment used during natural gas and carbon monoxide leak responses. The new technology will help firefighters identify hazardous conditions more quickly and accurately, improving both responder safety and community protection.

The donation reflects the Foundation’s commitment to supporting Safe Communities initiatives that help equip and prepare frontline responders for the challenges they face every day.
The partnership is especially meaningful because of the strong relationship between Didion and the Randolph Fire Department. Department members have participated in training opportunities at Didion, and the organizations continue to collaborate in support of emergency preparedness and community safety.
