This holiday season, Didion employees came together to make a meaningful impact in our community. Through the Cambria Kiwanis Holiday Gift & Food Drive, our team raised $5,165—100% employee-funded—to provide nutritious food boxes and age-appropriate gifts for more than 30 local families (including 69 children) in need. Didion also donated bags of corn grits.

But this effort was truly a community collaboration. Several local partners joined forces with Didion employees to make the holidays brighter. Together, these contributions ensured families in the Cambria–Friesland area could celebrate the holidays with dignity and joy. At Didion, feeding and fueling the world starts right here at home—and we’re proud to partner with organizations that share our commitment to community:

  • Cambria Community Bread Basket (Food Pantry): Donated food items, including all the fixings for a holiday ham dinner for each family.
  • Alsum Farms & Produce: Provided fresh produce and sturdy boxes for packing.
  • Johnson’s Sausage Shoppe: Donated a portion of the hams for holiday meals.
  • Thrivent: Contributed a generous monetary donation to support the drive.
  • Seneca Foods: Supplied canned vegetables to round out the holiday meals.

Why It Matters

Community giving is part of our DNA. This initiative reflects our dedication to supporting neighbors when it matters most.

Thank You

A heartfelt thank you to every Didion team member who donated and volunteered, and to our incredible partners who made this possible.
