DIDION FOUNDATION
Through sponsorships, donations and Didion’s ongoing commitment to powering strong communities, the Didion Foundation raises money to support local community initiatives and to expose, educate and provide hands-on agriculture and automation learning for area students. Most recently, the foundation supported local community initiatives put forth by our local fire and police departments, and our youth agricultural education programs.
The Didion Foundation extends sincere gratitude to the many generous partners who share the same vision of impacting lives and supporting our communities in which we live and work.
The Didion Foundation is honored to do our part to build strong communities.
Strong Communities Golf Outing
On a beautiful early-autumn day, our customers, staff and partners come together for a day of comradery and golf. Thank you to our participants who know it’s important to have fun and to support essential causes that affect our neighbors.
In 2023, the Didion Strong Communities Golf Outing raised over $123,000 in support of building strong communities through local programs, education, and emergency services initiatives.
We are so grateful to all who support the Strong Communities Golf Outing year after year, and who share our passion for making a positive impact in our neighborhoods and our youth.
We are thrilled to be back on the links with all of you on Thursday, September 19, 2024!
Community
One thing is for certain, at Didion we are committed to supporting our friends and neighbors. We have a fifty-year history of supporting initiatives that impact our communities like the Cambria-Friesland Community Fitness Center and law enforcement K9 units. At the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, we retooled a portion of our ethanol facility to produce and distribute hand sanitizer when supply was low, and demand was high.
In celebration of our 50th anniversary, the Didion Foundation is honored to announce $100,000 in donations to local fire departments, law enforcement agencies and youth agricultural programs that support safety and education. Learn more about the benefitting organizations.
The Didion work family is at the core of this mission. Employees jump at every opportunity to support our communities – from food drives to Kiwanis toy collections – the team is dedicated to supporting their neighbors.
STEAAM
Science Technology Engineering Agriculture Automation Math
Building a better tomorrow by supporting our future today.
Didion is leading the industry in innovation and using the most advanced technology available. But it’s our people who truly make our work at Didion unique. We want to continue to have the best and brightest talent walking through our doors evert day. That’s why we are dedicated to educating and providing hands-on agriculture and automation learning to the communities in which we operate in order for students to gain a better understanding of all the opportunities in STEAAM.
STEAAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Agriculture, Automation and Math) education is both necessary for the future of manufacturing and the future of rural communities. It’s also a vital program for students interested in the industry.
“STEAAM is core to what will drive change in the future, especially in rural communities. Our goal at Didion is to expose, educate and provide hands-on agriculture and automation learning to the communities in which we operate for students to gain a better understanding of all the opportunities in STEAAM.” – Riley Didion, President.
Didion’s STEAAM program is the early planning phase and will be further developed in partnership with area schools.
